Sun trine Pluto

Traducción en preparación. Mientras tanto, te mostramos el texto en inglés.

The Sun and Pluto are in exact trine today, the Sun at the third degree of Libra and Pluto, retrograde, at the third degree of Aquarius. The Sun passes on within days. Pluto stays where it is for a generation.

Start with the angle. Ptolemy builds the aspects from geometry. Draw a line across the circle, divide the half-circle into thirds, and the trine is the distance of an equilateral triangle, four signs or 120 degrees. He calls the trine and the sextile harmonious because they join signs of the same kind, all masculine or all feminine. The square and opposition join signs of different natures, so he calls them discordant. Libra and Aquarius are both air signs, so the two ends of today's trine share a nature and nothing has to be translated between them. Today the triangle is literally closed: Uranus in Gemini makes the third corner.

Now Pluto. It takes roughly 248 years to circle the zodiac and can hold one sign for twelve to thirty years. That is why its sign describes what a whole generation is being made to transform, and why a Pluto contact is a long season rather than a weather front. The Sun is the fast body here. Its trine is the moment that long, general pressure becomes briefly reachable.

Our reading of Pluto's aspects is specific. Hard contacts to a personal planet are where Pluto is felt as pressure. Flowing contacts give depth and staying power without the crisis. A trine to the Sun is the flowing kind.

The lines differ on what Pluto is for. Modern evolutionary astrology reads it as confrontation with the shadow, the work of facing what has been repressed. We use that, because it is accurate. Astrocábala, as taught by Red Milenaria, adds an orientation: Pluto's purpose is regeneration. That means reviewing past experience to see whether one is recreating what does not serve, and drawing extra force precisely when saturation is at its limit. On the Tree of Life, the same school places Pluto implicitly below on the left, the pillar of severity and rigour. Other kabbalistic sources set it at Daath instead, and we name that disagreement as open. We follow the Astrocábala line because it treats Pluto as material to work with. It does not pretend the material is light.

That is the use of a trine. The review Pluto asks for is usually forced under a square, when something has already broken. Under a trine, the same depth is available without the breakage.

So the practice for these days is a deliberate review. Choose one pattern that keeps recurring: a way you give ground, or a frustration you keep swallowing. Trace it back to where it began. Ask plainly whether you are still recreating it. Do this while it does not hurt, because it is easier to see clearly now than later. If you find frustration you have been storing, or a judgment you quietly handed to someone else's authority, name it and take it back. Rilke, as Red Milenaria quotes him, suggested that the dragons of our lives may be princesses waiting to see us brave. A trine is a good hour to look the dragon in the face.
