Moon square Uranus
Traducción en preparación. Mientras tanto, te mostramos el texto en inglés.
The Moon squares Uranus today, the Moon in early Virgo meeting Uranus in early Gemini at a right angle, with the contact perfecting during the day. Uranus has been in Gemini for some time and will stay there long after today. The Moon is the passing body here. For a few hours it touches that standing condition and makes it briefly personal.
Start with the two bodies. Sepharial gives the Moon softness and adaptability of nature, variableness and love of change. He makes it a general significator of a person's fortunes "and the changes incident to these." Uranus, in Sepharial's account, gives originality and waywardness, and in practical affairs produces "sudden and unexpected developments," irregularities, rapid rise and fall.
Then the angle. Ptolemy counts the quartile, or square, among the recognised configurations but calls it discordant. His reason is that it joins signs "not of the same kind, but of different natures." The trine and sextile link signs that share a nature, so they agree. The square links signs that do not, so the two bodies meet without common ground. Today that means the part of us that adapts and settles is set at a right angle to the part that breaks pattern.
Here the lines diverge. Sepharial reads Uranus chiefly as instability, unexpected turns of good and bad fortune. Our own reading, modern practice with a kabbalistic inclination, treats it as awakening and sudden release: the break that comes when a structure can no longer hold what is inside it. In this view the interruption is not random but the removal of something already outgrown. Red Milenaria describes Uranus in terms of fusion and fission, and says it provokes the change that sooner or later comes to light, asking us to learn the need for evolution. We follow that line. We do so without softening Sepharial's point that Uranian contacts are abrupt, and that under a square they tend to unsettle before they clarify.
So a Moon–Uranus square carries a particular friction. The Moon's instinct is to absorb a disruption and return to the familiar. Uranus resists that return. If a routine or an arrangement has been holding something it no longer fits, it tends to be jolted around these hours. The pull to restore it at once is strongest exactly where it has grown tight. Then the Moon moves on, and the contact passes within the day.
The practice follows from that. If something in an ordinary routine is interrupted today, pause before putting it back the way it was. Ask one plain question: was this already too small? Write the answer down. You need not act on it today. The square shows where the fit has gone wrong, and seeing it while the contact is exact is the useful work. Deciding what replaces it can wait for steadier days.
