The Sun is exactly opposite Neptune today and exactly trine Pluto, and between them they set the tone. Neptune loosens boundaries, including the one between what is and what is imagined. Opposing the Sun, it tends to blur what would normally look plain: intentions read less clearly, arrangements grow more involved, and it becomes easier to see what one hopes to see. The trine to Pluto runs underneath as steadier ground, lending depth and staying power to anything worked at patiently. It is a sky for looking twice at first impressions and putting weight on what has already proved itself.

The Sun is also in its fall in Libra. Ptolemy places the fall there because, on entering Libra, the Sun passes into the lower, southern half of its course and its heating influence begins to diminish. So the body that stands for light, and for truth made visible in speech and action, is working at reduced strength just as it faces Neptune.

Sepharial read Neptune as producing a highly strung, nervous temperament and complications in business. He held that Neptune in hard aspect to the Sun shows the danger of deceit practised on a person. In a shared sky that describes a tendency, not an event: things are more easily misrepresented, by others or to oneself. The same loosening has its other face. Where edges soften, fellow-feeling comes more easily and imaginative work flows more freely. Neptune cannot be read as simply one or the other.

These two exact contacts belong to a larger figure, a kite. The Sun in Libra, Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius form a grand trine in air, and it is applying. Neptune stands opposite the Sun and sextile to the other two.

Two slow contacts inside this figure have been in orb for years: Neptune sextile Pluto and Uranus trine Pluto. They are generational background. What the Sun does by passing through early Libra is make that long condition briefly specific.

On its own, a grand trine is closed ease. Its three bodies support each other, so nothing in it compels anyone to use what it offers. Here, Uranus brings understanding that arrives by intuition rather than reasoning; Astrocábala places the planet at Hochmah, the sephirah of wisdom. We read Uranus as disrupting toward a wider order rather than toward chaos. Pluto, in the Astrocábala orientation, asks for a review of past experience, to see whether one is recreating what does not serve.

Neptune is what turns that ease into something usable. The opposition supplies the pressure the trine lacks, and the two sextiles give it somewhere to go. The demand is that insight be tested rather than assumed.

A second figure sits across the same opposition. It is a T-square with Black Moon Lilith, in early Capricorn, at its apex. The Sun's square to Lilith is separating, while Neptune's is still applying.

Black Moon Lilith is read as what refuses to be accommodated, the part that will not be traded away for acceptance. Red Milenaria reads it as a power once taken away that now seeks to reassert itself: frustrations that can no longer be denied. As the apex, Lilith carries the strain of the quarrel between the Sun's clarity and Neptune's dissolving.

At full strength, that pressure makes something long smoothed over harder to keep smoothed. Terms nobody chose become harder to accept. Meanwhile Neptune's blur makes it harder to say exactly what the objection is. The point opposite the apex is empty, so the sky offers no release there. It has to be supplied deliberately, which in practice means stating the objection clearly enough that it can be dealt with, rather than leaving it to harden into a grievance.

Mars is applying to a square with Chiron. Ptolemy gives Mars its exaltation in Capricorn, where its fiery nature is most intense, and its fall in Cancer, where it stands now. Chiron, retrograde in the last degree of Aries, marks the wound that does not close by ordinary means, and its aspects show what keeps reopening it. A square from a Mars working at a slant tends to press on old sore points and to produce reactions larger than their triggers.

Mars is also closing, still at a wide distance, on an opposition to Pluto. This puts Chiron at the apex of a second, looser T-square.

The line we follow holds that the healing Chiron asks for is not removing the wound but consciously integrating it. Red Milenaria puts it this way: whoever has not wept their wounds does not understand the value of their victory. This sits harder for anyone with personal planets in the late cardinal degrees, where Mars and Chiron now stand.

The Sun moves on over the coming days, and the Neptune opposition loosens with it. The Mars square is still tightening. While all of this holds, one practice serves it well: when something feels either unusually clear or unusually wrong, check it against what has already stood the test of time. And when a reaction runs hot, ask whether it is older than the moment that set it off.
