The Moon enters Pisces today and holds the sign for about two days. The weightier fact is the Sun. Barely a degree and a half into Libra, it stands opposite Neptune in Aries, and that opposition is still closing. Neptune loosens edges: between one thing and another, between what is and what is imagined. Set against the Sun, it tends to blur what people mean to say and do. The same loosening opens room for compassion and imagination, and also for evasion and self-deception, and across these days the two are hard to tell apart.
The Sun carries this from weak footing. Ptolemy places its fall in Libra, because there it passes into the lower, southern half of the sky and its heat begins to diminish. Sepharial reads the Sun as the source whose light finally shows itself as speech and action. With Neptune opposite, speech and action are exactly where intentions can come out softer, vaguer or more borrowed than meant.
That opposition is one side of a T-square. The Sun and Neptune both square Black Moon Lilith, which sits at the very first degree of Capricorn and is the figure's apex. The Sun's square to it is exact today and already pulling away. Neptune's square is still tightening. We read Black Moon Lilith as what refuses to be accommodated. Red Milenaria reads it as a power that was taken away and now seeks to reassert itself, the frustrations that can no longer be denied.
At full strength, the figure makes whatever people have been swallowing to keep things smooth harder to keep down, just when clarity about it is scarce. Where someone has been making themselves easier to live with at their own cost, that cost tends to become harder to ignore. The point opposite the apex, at the start of Cancer, is empty, so nothing in the sky releases the pressure. It has to be released deliberately.
This sits harder for anyone with Sun or Moon in the first few degrees of Libra, Aries, Capricorn or Cancer.
The day is not only fog. The Sun also closes a grand trine in air with Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius, and it is applying. Neptune opposes the Sun while sextiling the other two, which turns the figure into a kite.
The trine alone describes ease that needs nothing from outside. Its Pluto leg gives depth and staying power without crisis, the capacity to hold something through rather than drop it. Ease like that can simply go unused. Neptune's opposition supplies the pressure the closed circuit lacks, and the two sextiles give that pressure somewhere useful to go. The Sun becomes the point under demand: the ability is there, and so is the push to use it.
The Uranus–Pluto trine and the Neptune–Pluto sextile have stood for years. What is new is the Sun passing through and making them briefly specific.
The Moon, meanwhile, makes an exact square to Uranus today and is already separating. Uranus does not work the way its neighbours work, and moods can meet something that will not behave as expected. It is short-lived.
One more contact is tightening over the coming days. Mars in Cancer, where Ptolemy places its fall because its fiery nature is weakest there, is moving to square Chiron. Chiron has been back in the last degree of Aries since the middle of the month. Mars is direct assertion, and Chiron brings a sore point into view. Pushing forward tends to press on exactly the place that is tender, and that is uncomfortable. The useful response is to attend to one's own need first and to others' after.
The Sun–Neptune opposition passes within days. While it holds, try writing down plainly what you actually want before agreeing to anything, then read it again the next day to see whether it still says the same thing.
