The Moon has just come full in Taurus, the sign of her exaltation in the old tradition, facing the Sun in Scorpio. Pluto in Aquarius squares both lights and takes the strain of their opposition. With the Sun within a degree of exact square to Pluto and still tightening, questions of control, and of what has run its course, come into plain view under this Full Moon.

Sun, Moon and Pluto form a T-square that took shape today, all three in fixed signs. As a fixed figure it can wear a problem down by endurance, and it can turn a disagreement into a long test of who tires first. The Taurus Moon brings reserve, self-control and a practical sense of what is worth keeping. Pluto, at the apex, gives that pressure one outlet: changing one concrete thing. Astrocábala asks that Pluto's two forces, collapse and rebuilding, stop working against each other.

Pluto is also the apex of a T-square with Venus and Chiron. Venus, retrograde in the last degree of Libra, is within a degree of opposing Chiron at the end of Aries, tightening. An old hurt, sometimes something a person does well for others and not for themselves, tends to surface through someone else. Retrograde, Venus brings people and matters from the past back to be weighed again. The healing Chiron asks for includes accepting what is. Jupiter in Leo, tightening its trine to Chiron, helps where what it gives is shared.

Two yods formed today. Uranus, within a degree of exact quincunx to Black Moon Lilith in Capricorn and tightening, is the apex of the Sun–Lilith sextile; the Sun, whose quincunx to Neptune passed exact since yesterday, is the apex of the Uranus–Neptune sextile. Together they bring a restless sense that something does not line up, and an unmet wish looking for its outlet. Small, discerning adjustments serve better than force. Mercury, retrograde in Scorpio and newly squaring Mars, makes words come faster than the thought behind them, so check things twice.

This Full Moon opens the two weeks that run to the New Moon in Scorpio on 9 November. Its phase is the month's conscious one: the impulse of the last New Moon becomes a clearer idea, and something separates from what the waxing half built.
