Uranus in Gemini and Black Moon Lilith in Capricorn are within a degree of a quincunx and still closing. The Sun in Scorpio meets both, sextile Lilith and quincunx Uranus, and the three form a yod with Uranus at its apex. The quincunx is modern practice's aspect; the classical tradition does not count it. It joins two energies that do not fit. Uranus, quick and restless in Gemini, wants to break whatever has set rigid. Lilith in Capricorn is a want or a lack held under strict practical control. The strain tends to show as nervousness with no obvious cause. Because the yod's orbs are tight, it also carries its own answer: one specific change, made deliberately.
If plans keep misfiring, or a wish you thought settled starts nagging, that is the Sun and Lilith looking for an outlet through Uranus. Pushing harder rarely helps a quincunx. Small, discerning shifts of approach do, and change that is taken in chafes less and can turn creative. Sun square Pluto passed exact since yesterday and is easing. If its pressure lingers, it shows as an urge to control the outcome.
Venus retrograde in Libra is within a degree of opposing Chiron in Aries and tightening. With Pluto squaring both, they form a T-square with Pluto at the apex. Retrograde Venus brings people and unfinished matters back. Chiron marks an old sore point, and the opposition makes it feel as though someone else is causing it. If that happens, it is worth asking how much is projection. The old tradition holds that Venus is stronger in its own sign, and here it can give a second chance to something that cracked, provided it rests on real understanding. Pluto at the apex presses for an end to whatever has run its course. Venus is pulling away from its square to Pluto, and Pluto's square to Chiron leaves orb after 30 October, so the figure is loosening.
New today, the Moon in Taurus, the sign of its exaltation in the old tradition, opposes retrograde Mercury in Scorpio, with Jupiter in Leo at the apex of a second T-square. If talk swells into promises or display, Jupiter is amplifying it. Mercury favours checking twice, and the Moon's Taurean steadiness helps hold things to scale.
This is the second day of the period that opened with the Full Moon in Taurus on 26 October. Its phase is the conscious one, when the New Moon's impulse has become a clear idea, and a separation from what the waxing half built. Beneath it all, Neptune and Pluto stay within a degree of their long generational sextile, easing slowly: an opening for ideals and deep change to work together where effort goes in. Read together, the day's figures point one way: an old hurt between people comes back, words about it tend to swell, and the restlessness looks for one specific change rather than a clean break. The day asks for precise adjustment.
