The Sky Letter reads the energies of the whole period, from one lunation to the next. Below it, the daily reading covers what is particular to this day within that period.
The Sky Letter — Full Moon in Taurus
Full Moon in Taurus · 26 October → New Moon in Scorpio · 9 November
This fortnight asks for a clear look at what is being held on to, and for releasing what has run its course before reaching for anything new. The Full Moon in Taurus on 26 October squares Pluto in Aquarius, and within hours the Sun's square to Pluto turns exact. The Taurus Moon wants to keep what it has, with some possessiveness; Pluto presses for change at the root. The Full Moon is the point where a cycle's work either comes into focus or shows where it failed. Here what comes into focus is attachment: which ties still serve, and which have hardened.

The Moon in Leo joins Mars today and reaches Jupiter before the day closes. The slow approach of those two planets gets a pulse of feeling. Mood and drive fuse: warmth comes fast, and so does pride, and a Leo Moon wants its effort seen. Earlier, the Moon squares Mercury, retrograde in Scorpio, so reactions tend to run ahead of words. If a remark lands as a slight, Leo's flare is usually brief and holds no grudge. The cost comes from acting on it before the thinking has caught up. Mars asks that its force be kept in hand. The Moon's meeting with Jupiter lifts the mood and opens the hand; at full strength the same lift turns to vanity and waste. Astrocábala sets Jupiter's starting point in the plain joy of being alive.
